Speakers

Chris Dendys, Results Canada

Chris Dendys is the Executive Director of Results Canada. Since it began over 30 years ago, Results has seen global poverty reduced to half using the incredible power of conversation combined with education and action. Together with staff, volunteers, partners, and champions, Results raises its voice with Canadian government decision-makers and the media to influence the changes needed to combat poverty – improved policies, more efficient programs, and increased resources.

Lindsay Sheridan, Results Canada

Lindsay is the Parliamentary Officer at Results Canada and engages with Canadian Members of Parliament, Senators, and decision-makers to advocate for high-impact global health, education, and economic inclusion initiatives that measurably contribute to an end to extreme poverty. Prior to working at Results, Lindsay was a staffer on Parliament Hill and worked on the International Human Rights file with her MP. She believes that engaging in the Canadian democratic process by making your voice known to local representatives is a crucial part of change-making and advocacy!

Amelia Monstad, Results Canada

Amelia is a Policy and Advocacy Officer with Results Canada focused on child health, nutrition, and vaccines. Her work with Results has taught her that advocacy is easier than you think to make that connection between caring deeply about something and translating that into action with those who have the decision making power. She is proud that the work that she does on a daily basis has an impact in making the world a better place.
